Hello this is the first article finally. I would say that i took me around 4 hours from downloading to uploading to godaddy via ftp (no zip app on server to save on time) and google my way through sucess to make this DNN work (since I experienced some permission problems). I got a couple of complains from the DNN Support and Help secctions including the forums, which by no means where helpful and had a 1-2-3 guide to installing this DNN . Common sense and 10 years of dealing with computers got me to add some permissions to the right places to make it work.

But my first impressions of the DNN engine is that I do notice a boost in speed compared to worldpress. now this is just having skeleton app and very few postings but we'll see as time progresses and thingds get added to the site. After DNN could find itself it becase a lot easier to install. It is obvious the lack of a little "coolness to the design" but I'm just starting and cant wait to see if there are some good themes out there to skin this up without much problems.
